DISCover Ultimate Day

DISCover Ultimate Day is an ideal opportunity for middle school-aged kids to learn more about our amazing sport in a simple, fun and interactive way — all for free! Experience the joy of ultimate and learn the basics of how to play by attending this free introductory session hosted by the Saint Louis Ultimate Association! 

Learn the basics about what ultimate is, how it’s played, and what sets it apart from any other sport.

Practice some fundamental skills – including how to catch a disc – and participate in basic drills.

Play a variety of disc games designed to introduce and develop basic entry-level skills for new players.

Ultimate’s unique set of rules encourages and supports the development of skills that extend beyond the playing field: self confidence, mutual respect, conflict resolution, communication, and personal responsibility.

Ultimate prides itself on promoting a welcome and inclusive environment to all players. Participants often say they came for the sport and stayed for the community after developing strong bonds with teammates and competitors alike.
